Ventry which is in the Kerry Gaeltacht, is a charming village four miles west of the ever popular tourist town of Dingle. The village, which can be reached along the scenic Slea Head Drive, has a shop/post office, a pub and a restaurant. This is a fantastic base for exploring the Dingle Peninsula or you can simple enjoy a stroll along Ventry Beach, a superb 3 mile stretch of sandy beach. You'll certainly discover the magic that Kerry has to offer, in this fantastic region.
Directions
Follow the Slea Head drive west from Dingle town for 7 km until you reach Ventry, also signposted as "Ceanntra".
