This Museum concentrates on the region. A visit is recommended before you go out to explore the area. The displays include geology, flora and rich archaeological heritage. They occasionally stage travelling exhibitions. Corca Dhuibhne is one of the most s pectacularly beautiful areas in Ireland, some of its geological formations are 410 million years old. The museum tells this story. There is a pictorial display of the flora from the immediate vicinity along with panels on bogs, butterflies, moths, the Natterjack toad and Fungi, the Dingle Dolphin.
