Situated overlooking the Slieve Mish Mountains, about 6km from Tralee town centre, Glenogue House is a peaceful family run country house offering an excellent standard of accommodation.

There are four luxury bedrooms on the ground floor, three double rooms and one double & single room. All are en suite with power showers and each room has a TV and electric blankets as well. Hairdryers and iron/ironing boards are available on request. Guests receive tea/coffee on arrival and there's a hearty home cooked breakfast on offer each morning.

This part of County Kerry has plenty to offer and is renowned for its excellent beaches, scenic walking routes and endless angling and golfing options. There are three golf courses within easy reach with Barrow Golf Club only about 2km away. Tralee town is only about 6km away and is great for a spot of retail therapy or indeed for a night out. While here it's worth checking out the Aqua Dome, the Steam Train to Blennerville or the famous folk theatre &emdash; Siamsa Tire. The fishing village of Fenit with its popular beach is also well worth visiting.

Directions

From Tralee follow the Fenit Road - R558. You pass the Oyster Tavern Pub on the right hand side. Turn right at the next junction, where you'll see signs for Churchill, and Glenogue House is located on the right.
