The Smerwick Harbour Hotel is located near Ballyferriter on the Dingle Peninsula of County Kerry.
The 32 rooms in the hotel are all ensuite and are fully equipped with such conveniences as a TV, a telephone, a hairdryer and facilities to make tea/coffee. The room sizes vary, with 14 family rooms, but all are very comfortable and nicely decorated.
The hotel also has its own restaurant which uses the best of local produce and fresh seafood caught at Smerwick Harbour. There is also the Old World Bar where you can get a quite pint of the black stuff and perhaps you may get a chance to hear some of the locals speaking Gaelic.
Smerwick Harbour Hotel is situated close to the Ceann Sibeal 18-hole golf course and residents of the hotel get a special discounted rate. There are other activities available nearby including angling, horse riding, surfing and diving. If you are into walking or hiking then Kerry will be your paradise as the Dingle Way and the Kerry Way are excellent examples of walks that enable you to discover the spectacular landscape of the county.
