The Alder is situated by the shores of Lough Leane, the foothills of Tomies Oak Wood, McGillycuddy Reeks and Gap of Dunloe. Boats available for salmon and trout fishing or touring. Restaurants and traditional entertainment locally.

Take the N72 from Killarney take first left past Hotel Europe for the Gap of Dunloe. Take the next left for Lough Leane.
