Kerry can be divided into two principal areas: North Kerry & South Kerry.
North Kerry
This covers the area north of and including the Dingle peninsula. Towns and villages here include Ballyferriter, Dingle, Listowel, Tarbert, Ventry, Ardfert, and Castleisland. Tralee, Kerry's largest (county) town, is also located here.
South Kerry
This covers the area south of the Dingle peninsula and includes the Iveragh peninsula and part of the Beara Peninsula. Towns and villages here include Caherciveen, Waterville, Kenmare, Killorglin, and Killarney, the largest town in South Kerry.
